While there has been no specific weather advisory for Phuket, the MET did issue three advisories today for Northern Thailand, the latest of which, effective 5pm today, read:
“The rather strong high pressure covering Thailand causes summer thunderstorms; gusty wind over the country and some hail is like in the North during 23- 25 April.
“People should beware of the severe conditions and keep away from unsecured buildings and prepare for the changeable weather conditions.”
