Phuket Town roads to close today for international parade

PHUKET: Phuket City Municipality has cautioned motorists to be wary of road closures in Phuket Town today (Mar 16) for the International Lions Club’s 310 Thailand Convention Parade.

The 52nd International Lions Clubs 310 Thailand Convention Parade will be held today with the parade setting off from the 72nd Anniversary Queen Sirikit Park (Dragon Park) and heading towards the Phuket Post Office Junction at 3pm.

After arriving at the Phuket Post Office Junction, the parade will be turn right onto Montri Rd, head passed Surin circle (Clock Tower Circle) and Phuket Rd. The parade will be pass Bang Niew Intersection to Saphan Hin intersection before entering the central stage at Saphan Hin.

Lions Clubs asks motorists to avoid using the route on the date and time mentioned and are sorry for an inconvenience.
