The signing ceremony was held on Tuesday (May 26) at the Phuket Juvenile and Family Court in Ratsada.
Presiding over the event was Phuket Governor Nirat Pongsitthithavorn, joined by Kampanat Areekul, Chief Judge of the Nan Provincial Court who is currently serving as acting Chief Judge of the Phuket Juvenile and Family Court, and Phuket Provincial Police Commander Sinlert Sukhum.
Also attending were Vice Governor Adul Chuthong, Phuket Provincial Police Deputy Commander Pol Col Kittipong Klaikaew, along with associate judges and mediators from the Phuket Juvenile and Family Court.
According to officials, the agreement is intended to improve coordination between the provincial administration, the courts and police in locating and arresting individuals subject to warrants issued by the Phuket Juvenile and Family Court.
Authorities said the cooperation would help enforce court orders and judgments more quickly and fairly while also safeguarding the rights of suspects, defendants, victims, witnesses, children, youth and family members involved in the justice process.
Officials added that the integrated approach is expected to improve the efficiency of the justice system while helping build public confidence and safety in Phuket over the long term.
