The festival, to be held from Aug 29-31, is being organised by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation (PPAO) in partnership with the Mai Khao Tambon Administrative Organisation (OrBorTor) and local public and private sector partners.
Aimed at boosting Phuket’s tourism economy during the off-season, the event will showcase the island’s creative potential while attracting a new generation of visitors.
The three-day programme will feature performances by leading artists including Singto Numchok, Maiyarap Wasan, 17 MEAN, and Candles and Varnish. Visitors can also explore a creative market offering food trucks, craft and handmade products, community goods and local vendors.
Festivalgoers will be able to join in interactive activities, including a cover song contest for aspiring singers, as well as workshops designed to inspire young people and encourage creative expression. Each night will close with a fireworks display.
Entry is free for all, with organisers promising “three days of unforgettable fun”.
