The sixth annual edition of the event will take place on Sunday, Nov 26 at Bang Wad Dam in Kathu, organisers confirmed yesterday (Nov 2).
Starting at 6am, there will be three separate distances that participants can choose to run:
- A 2.5-kilometre run with separate male and female categories and a B350 entry fee.
- A 5km run with separate male and female categories and a B400 entry fee. This distance will also be divided into age groups across the male and female groups, as follows: 20-29 years old; 30-39 years old; 40-49 years old; 50-59 years old; and 60 years of age and above.
- A 10.5km mini marathon with separate male and female categories and a B450 entry fee. This distance will also be divided into age groups across the male and female groups, as follows: 19 years of age and below; 20-29 years old; 30-34 years old; 35-39 years old; 40-44 years old; 40-49 years old; 50-54 years old; 55-59 years old; and 60 years old and above.
- Additionally, there is a VIP category where participants can select whichever distance they choose and opt to participate in multiple runs. There entry fee for this class is B1,000.
Organisers confirmed there will be commemorative plaques awarded as prizes to be the top five placed finishers in each category and age group.
