The work is to be carried out over a week, from this Wednesday through to July 3, Phuket City Municipality said in a notice issued earlier this week.
The work will require one lane on Phuket Rd to be closed at the approach to Surin Circle.
Areas to be affected include in front of the Lan Nawamin public area and in front of the Mala shop on the roundabout, Phuket City Municipality explained in its notice.
Motorists affected by the lane closure are urged to use Soi Surin or Soi Taling Chan.
Phuket City Municipality apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
“Please avoid the route during this time,” Phuket City Municipality noted in its announcement.
