Phuket power outages ahead as workers upgrade high-voltage lines

PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PPEA) has announced a slew of scheduled power outages this month as workers continue to upgrade high-voltage power lines.

Areas to be affected from 9am to 4pm while the work is carried out are as follows:
August 4 – Phuket Town. Yaowarat Rd, from Komaraphat Rd to Vachira Phuket Hospital.

August 5 – Wichit. Sakdidet Rd, from in front of Kwang Tung Cemetery to Baan Ao Nam Bor School, including Soi Pracha Seri, Moo Bann Phuket Baan Sabai, some areas of Soi Suwanna, Soi Porkun, Soi Nikom, Moo Bann Chonnakan Borrae, Soi Ferngfoo, Soi Sinthavee, Soi Ngulerm, Soi Samard, and some areas of Soi Pracharuamjai.

August 11- Rassada. Pracha Uthit1Rd, From Baan Thung Kha School to the entrance of soi Panieng Yaowarat Rd, including Pracha Uthit 1; Top Land Rassada Village; Soi Nawarak to the junction at Thawi Saman market; then to Soi Thung Kha 1, 3, 4, 7; Soi Phaniang 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; Soi Muenphan-Uthit, Soi Trokkanphai and Soi Yindeesanit.

August 14 – Sapam/Koh Kaew. Thepkrasattri Rd south bound from Sapam village to front of Boat Lagoon, including Moo Baan Supalai Lagoon Sapam.

August 18 - Wichit. Sakdidet Rd (west side) from in front of Kwang Tung Cemetery to Soi Nikom, including some part of Soi Pracha Seri, Moo Baan Phuket Baan Sabai, some areas of Soi Suwanna and Soi Porkhun.

August 19 – Wichit. Sakdidet Rd (east side), including Soi Sakdidet 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, Soi Yee Teng, Soi Acho and Soi Thanit.

August 23 – Phuket Town. Phun Phon Rd east side, from the Kor Jan Bridge to the Yee Teng Intersection, including Soi Phun Phon 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, to the junction of Bangkok-Phunphon and from Yeeteng intersection to Bangkok Rd including Soi Prawat, Soi Phutorn, Soi Bangkok 4 and 6. to Suriyadej Circle.

August 26 – Wichit. Sakdidet Rd, from the Mueang Thong junction to Baan Ao Nam Bor School, including Soi Lak Mueang, Moo Baan Hok Huat, Soi Nanachat, Moo Baan Irawadee 1, Soi Mali, Soi San Fueangfoo, Moo Baan Irawadee 2, Moo Baan Suk Sabai, Moo Baan Kharuehat Thani, Soi Borrae, Soi Somboon, Moo Baan Numsai and areas along Klong Mudong.
August 28 – Sapam/Koh Kaew. Thepkrasattri Rd south bound, from Sapam village to front of Boat Lagoon, including Moo Baan Supalai Lagoon Sapam.
