For Westerners from the northern hemisphere, the hot weather makes it even more surreal that Christmas is just around the corner, compared with the ice, snow and cold that brings the annual reminder that the festive season is upon us once again.
Some people come for their holidays in Phuket to mark the special occasion, while others holiday here to get away from it.
