BANGKOK: Prosecutors will decide in two weeks whether to indict construction company PCC and its management on fraud charges, filed by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), relating to the B5.8 billion contract to build 369 police stations, most of which remain uncompleted, including two in Phuket.

DSI special case officer Theerawat Kongmon sent the investigation report on the case to Ruj Kuansuwan, executive director of the Office of Civil Litigation 1 in the Attorney-General’s office, yesterday (June 13).

The report is 12,228 pages long and was delivered in five crates.

The DSI recommended indicting PCC Development and Construction Co and its three executives – Pibul Udomsithikul, Jaturong Udomsithikul and Wissanu Wisetsing – on charges of cheating 32 subcontractors employed under subcontracts to build the police stations, causing damages estimated at B90 million.

Mr Ruj said the three PCC executives had also reported to public prosecutors at his office. He instructed them to return to hear the prosecutors’ indictment decision on June 27.
