The Kusoldharm rescue foundation reported at 9am today (Oct 25) that a Phuket man is heading to Bangkok by foot to pay condolences to the late King who passed away on October 13.

The man, Mr Duang Indang, 37, from Cherng Talay was spotted crossing Sarasin Bridge as he made his way on the 842-kilometre journey.

Mr Duang said that he left his home in Cherng Talay this morning and that what he was doing was his way of showing love and loyalty to the late King.

“I will walk for two hours then rest and resume my walk. All along the road residents came out to greet me and offered me food and drink. People gave me courage and moral support on this mission,” he said.
