The first meeting of the Sub-Committee for Promoting the Anti-Corruption Education Curriculum in Phuket Province (1/2026) was held at the Phuket Provincial Office of the NACC.yesterday (Feb 18).
The meeting was chaired by Phuket NACC Director Suwat Saovaran, with sub-committee members from educational institutions and related agencies in attendance.
Participants formally acknowledged Order No. 20/2026, dated Jan 5, 2026, issued by the Committee for Promoting the Implementation of the Master Plan under the National Strategy on Anti-Corruption and Misconduct in Phuket Province.
The order appoints the provincial sub-committee responsible for integrating anti-corruption education efforts and ensuring implementation aligns with national strategy indicators.
The Phuket NACC office will serve as the main coordinating agency for the initiative.
During the meeting, officials presented the operational framework for the 2026 fiscal year, with a focus on embedding the anti-corruption education curriculum in educational institutions at all levels. The overarching goal is to instil values of honesty, integrity and accountability in Thai children and youth.
Key targets for the year include developing at least three outstanding projects or innovations showcasing best practices in applying the anti-corruption curriculum; ensuring that at least 500 participants complete the online anti-corruption education platform; conducting on-site supervision and monitoring at a minimum of 12 educational institutions; and achieving a 90% completion rate for monitoring through the school-ready system.
The sub-committee also discussed guidelines for field supervision and follow-up during the third and fourth quarters of the 2026 fiscal year. Twelve schools will be selected for on-site monitoring, with officials ensuring that all types of educational institutions in Phuket are represented, said an official report of the meeting.
Officials said the initiative is intended to strengthen moral foundations within the education system and promote transparency and responsibility from an early age, forming a long-term strategy to prevent and reduce corruption.
The NACC is also encouraging students and members of the public to enrol in its free online course via the “Anti-Corruption Education Platform”. Participants who complete the course and pass the required assessments will receive an online certificate. Registration is available at aced.nacc.go.th.
