Wasan Samansin (No. 12) polished off a beautiful passing sequence from the top of the box to put the Ronins up in the 18th minute of the match last Saturday (Februray 14) at Trat Stadium.
The pass came from Patipat Armatantri (No. 25), who gave a quick flick from the outside of his boot towards a surging Wasan, who only needed two touches to find the back of the net.
But Trat wasn't going down that easy.
In the middle of the second half, striker Piya Kueawan (No. 26) found himself with the ball just behind the Ronins defense. As Phuket FC defender Samsen Nima (No. 3) barrelled down behind him, Piya's shot was sent wide left.
In the 58th minute, the White Elephants would earn a free kick just outside the box. Phuket goalkeeper, Piyawat Intarapim (No. 19) made a great diving save to the far left post to secure the 1-0 victory for the Ronins.
