The PEBL 25/26 season saw a variety of teams battle it out on the court over seven separate game days. Stretching back to November last year, Game Day One took place on Nov 16 and the season concluded with the finals last Sunday (Mar 15).

The men’s open age division saw four teams competing: Army Ants; Phuket Elite; Monday; and Phukario Pyros, with the Army Ants defeating Phuket Elite 92-67 to lift the trophy.

The boys under-18 age division saw six teams compete: Phuket Elite; UWC White; Phuket Wittayalai (PKY); British School International, Phuket (BISP); UWC Green; and VCR JR. The final saw PKY emerge victorious by a score of 65-44 against Phuket Elite.

Three teams fought it out in the girls under-18 age division: UWC; BISP; and MyFriend. The team from UWC showed their class and dominace in the final showdown as they defeated MyFriend by a thoroughly convincing score of 87-14.

The under-13 Coed age division had four teams battle it out over the season: KIS; BISP; BDA; and Moo Academy. The latter just had enough to run out as winners in the final against BISP with a score of 41-34.

An awards ceremony was staged to present trophies to the winning teams and the runners-up, overseen by Somsak Boonkaew, executive committee member from the Phuket Provincial Sports Association.

The competition was organised in collaboration with PEBL and Kajonkiet International School by the Phuket Basketball Lovers Club, a local sports organisation dedicated to fostering the basketball community in Phuket.

The competition strives to promote and develop the potential of basketball players in Phuket, while providing opportunities for athletes to showcase their abilities, gain competitive experience and raise the standard of basketball in the area. The 2025/26 season was the second season of the competition.
