The accident occurred at 5:29pm near a curve past Baan Khao Po Mosque in Krasom, Takua Thung district.
According to authorities, heavy rain caused the driver to lose control, resulting in the bus overturning on the roadside.
Rescue teams and officers from Takua Thung Police quickly responded to the scene. The injured passengers were transported to Phang Nga Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Phang Nga Provincial Police and local authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
