Staff at the Great Glove Thailand Co Ltd in Baan Manik reported the accident to Lt Suporn Muangkhai of Thalang Police at 11:50am.
At the scene, police and Kusoldharm Foundation and Srisoonthorn rescue workers found a yellow forklift flipped on its side on a mound of sawdust, with the body of Sujet Chuachokeamnuay lying nearby,
“From the preliminary investigation we concluded that Mr Sujet was driving the forklift as normal and lifting sawdust to move it. The vehicle overturned and fell on top of him,” Lt Suporn said.
“A colleague who saw the accident used another forklift to help lift the toppled vehicle before checking the body of the deceased and notifying police,” he said.
