Phitsanulok police discovered that Danai Thonglaima, 35, was now working in Phuket, and contacted Kathu police for help in arresting him.
Danai was wanted by police for committing a murder in Phitsanulok on May 8, 2008. He then fled to Phuket where he started work.
Danai was arrested in front of the hotel at around 1pm on Tuesday, and was taken to Kathu Police Station for processing.
