The Consular and Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) outreach mission is scheduled for Mar 14-15, operating from 9am to 5pm on both days. The initiative will serve members of the Filipino community in Phuket as well as nearby provinces including Phang Nga, Krabi, Surat Thani – including Koh Samui – and Trang.

Embassy officials said the outreach programme is aimed at making essential government services more accessible to overseas Filipinos who may otherwise need to travel to Bangkok for assistance.

The exact venue in Phuket will be disclosed directly to applicants after they confirm their appointments, with the embassy advising that all services will be provided by appointment only.

Among the main services available during the outreach are passport-related applications, including new passports, renewals and replacement of lost or damaged passports.

The embassy will also bring representatives from several Philippine government agencies that provide services for overseas workers.

Officials from the Social Security System (SSS) and the Pag-IBIG Fund will be present to assist with membership enquiries, contributions and other services for Filipinos working abroad.

Labour-related services will also be provided through the Migrant Workers Office Thailand, which will offer documentation services such as contract verification and Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) processing. The outreach will also include an Overseas Welfare Officer who will respond to questions regarding membership and contributions to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

The embassy urged those wishing to access services to book their appointments online in advance according to the type of service required.

Passport applicants are required to register through the Philippine passport appointment system and select the option “PE Bangkok – Outreach in Phuket, Thailand” when scheduling their visit.

Applicants seeking other consular services, or assistance from SSS or Pag-IBIG, must book through the embassy’s consular appointment portal under the category “Consular and Assistance to Nationals Outreach in Phuket”.

Separate appointments are required for services from the Migrant Workers Office and OWWA.

The embassy advised Filipinos in southern Thailand to monitor their email after booking to receive confirmation and details of the outreach location.

For further enquiries, the embassy said applicants may contact the consular section by email.

The outreach forms part of the Philippine government’s ongoing efforts to support overseas Filipinos by bringing consular and welfare services closer to communities outside major diplomatic hubs.
