The pair put on a battle befitting of the main event, which happened to fall a day after International Women’s Day on Friday, capping off ONE’s all-female card with a back-and-forth contest.
It was Phetjeeja’s array of accurate punches that proved the difference over five rounds, netting her a final round knockdown and, ultimately, the unanimous decision victory.
Todd gave an emotional speech to the packed crowd post-fight, as she draws the curtain on her storied 52-fight professional career.
Meanwhile, Allycia Hellen Rodrigues got the job done in the co-main event, defending her ONE women’s atomweight Muay Thai world title against the ultra-tough Spanish contender Cristina Morales.
The Brazilian star’s dominance in the clinch allowed her to batter the body of Morales, slowing down the activity of her foe and earning her the judges’ nod.
After the fight the 25-year-old called out Stamp Fairtex for her next encounter, who she won the title from in 2020.
