Meet Yola: Rescued from the illegal dog meat trade.
My name is Yola. I am a four- year-old female looking for my forever home. I have been through a horrific time. Stolen away from my carefree life, I don’t want to remember what happened when those men caught me. I was locked in a cage with other dogs crying in pain. I couldn’t breathe properly there were so many of us in one cage. I am sorry to say another dog died in my cage – she gave up the will to live and stopped breathing.
I am grateful to the people who stopped our truck and let us out. Thank you Soi Dog supporters for rescuing me.
I am friendly with people and love lots of attention.
Meet Bella: Rescued from the dog meat trade.
My name is Bella and I am three years old. I have been through an absolutely horrific time.Stolen from my happy life and ripped away from my family and friends.
I am a pretty girl, friendly, playful and energetic. I am looking for my forever family to love and care for me.
I have heard many great things about the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and am not fussy – I will like to live in any one of these places.
Meet Lindsey: Found on the streets alone.
I am one year and four months old and have been living at Soi Dog for one year now.
I was found on the streets alone and had a terrible cough, weeping eyes and scabs on my skin. It is difficult enough to survive on the streets as a young pup, but when you are sick it is even harder.
The vets at Soi Dog are great. They made me well again. Now I live in a run with 19 other dogs. It is a nice run, with trees, plants and sheltered places to sit.
I am friendly and would do so well in the real world, where I could go on lovely long walks with my new clan. I have heard that lots of dogs are getting adopted from Soi Dog at the moment and it exciting for all of us here!
I do hope it is my turn soon. I am a boisterous and playful girl, now that I feel safe in the walls of the shelter. I have been able to flourish and enjoy myself like a young dog should. I can be bossy amongst my pack but only because I like to have fun and am still a young, energetic girl. Still, the shelter is not a place for a dog to live forever. It is a sanctuary to nurture in times of need, but I should not have to live here all my life.
Are you the family I’m waiting for?
