The Hatha Massage shop on Rat-Uthit 200 Pi Rd was raided by officers at 9:40pm on Saturday (Aug 12), Patong Police reported.
The raid followed a complaint that the shop was operating without a licence and using “children” under 18 years of age to provide massage services, the report said.
The officers arrested one suspect, named only as “Ms Onuma”
According to the report, Ms Onuma was charged with only “operating a health establishment without permission”.
The raid on Saturday followed Patong Police raiding Aisha Massage, located in a small street off Haad Patong Rd, last Monday (Aug 7).
Officers arrested the operator of the parlour, who police named only as “Ms Yupin”.
Ms Yupin was charged with operating a health establishment without permission and allowing employees under 18 years of age to work in a place where massage services are provided to customers, Patong Police confirmed.
Patong Police revealed no further details of the raid.
