Montri Srijuntra from Nakorn Sri Thammarat was arrested in front of the Soi Paradise complex on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pi Road at about 1:30am after a complaint filed by Amit Mahendra Shah, who accused the lady of stealing his wallet.

Soon after, a search of Mrs Montri by police recovered his black wallet and the 5,190 baht therein.

The incident was enough for Patong police superintendent Col Chaiwat Uikum to give the hard word to his officers and have them round up the usual suspects and remind them of the law.

After the pageant of the allegedly light-fingered crew, Mrs Montri was charged with theft in the nighttime.
