The maintenance works are taking place at Bang Jo water treatment and pumping station starting from 8pm this evening and are scheduled to last until 6am tomorrow morning.
Areas tambons that are usually reliant on the Bang Jo station will be impacted by the disruption, including parts of Cherng Talay, Pa Khlok, Koh Kaew, Rassada, Mai Khao, Saku, Kamala and Srisoonthorn, including Thepkrasattri Rd.
In a message posted on its website, the PWA apologised for any inconvenience and advised that back up water supplies be stocked in advance for domestic use. The department’s usual supply recommendation is 200 liters per person per day.
After the water supply is restored, the water in the pipes may contain impurities or be coloured for some time. However, this will disappear in a short time if the tap is left open and the water can run for a while.
PWA telephone numbers for inquiries are 076 31-91-73 and 063 474-45-65.
