PHUKET: The 24-year-old Chinese-Italian Thai-UK girl suffering from Leukemia and whose family last month appealed on social media for a rare stem cell donor match to save her, has announced that a "one in 25 million" match has been found.

The announcement was published on a Youtube video by Lara today, following a viral campaign "Match 4 Lara" that was carried out on Thai and international media channels throughout the planet.
"If all goes to plan, then I will go to transplant soon [sic]," she announced, before thanking all of the potential donors who registered, pointing out that there are still many people in need of a donor match.
