An official from Phuket International Airport who declined to be named confirmed to The Phuket News yesterday (Sept 7) that passengers on Shenzhen Airline flight ZH9038, scheduled to land at 6:20pm, would be the first to pass through the new terminal.
However, this will not be the only flight, the official confirmed that there will be a further four flights today and one flight early tomorrow which be serviced by the new terminal namely; Chongqing Airlines flight OQ2360 arrival time 8:20pm, Beijing Capital Airlines flight JD478 arrival time 11pm, Tianjin Airlines flight GS7936 arrival time 11:30pm and Shenzhen Airline flight ZH9072 arrival time 12:20am (Sept 9).
The official also confirmed that new terminal would officially be open to service passengers on Sept 16.
