The ’Kindee Phuket’ food and music festival was confirmed on Saturday (Jan 6) by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation (PPAO). The organisers extend a warm welcome to the people of Phuket and foreign visitors to enjoy local treats and listen to well-known Thai bands.
The schedule of concerts for “Kindee Phuket” (“Good Eat Phuket”) is as follows:
- Friday, Jan 19 – Tamarind Band
- Saturday, Jan 20 – Job2Do
- Sunday, Jan 21 – Atom Chanakan
Exact times for the concerts have yet to be provided. All information about the weekend is limited to a Facebook post and a poster by the PPAO, highlighting live performances and other activities.
The three vectors of fun at the “Kindee Phuket” festival, as provided by the PPAO, are:
- SHOP: Good prices for nice wares from famous stores.
- TOUCH: Enjoy the taste of creativity with our chef’s table-style meal.
- ENJOY: Experience cooking workshops, stage performances and fantastic photo shooting spots.
Phuket Red Cross Fair and New Year charity lottery
The festival is set to commence on Friday (Jan 19), less than two weeks after the conclusion of the ’Dee Phuket’ fair at Saphan Hin. The annual Phuket Red Cross Fair, now called the ‘Dee Phuket’ fair, started on Dec 29 and concluded on Saturday (Jan 6) with the announcement of the lucky numbers for the Red Cross Lottery for the main prizes at the center stage area at 10pm.
The Red Cross Lottery winning numbers are:
- Toyota Fortuner Leader 2.4 V (1 prize) – Ticket 48649,
- Toyota Yaris Aitv 1.2 Smart (1 prize) – Ticket 23712,
- Honda Scoopy-i (3 prizes) – Tickets 32013, 74534 and 17729,
