The accident occurred at the traffic-light-controlled three-way intersection at the entrance to Thalang Hospital on Thepkrasattri Rd sometime after 4pm.

Dashcam footage shared online showed an ambulance from Pa Khlok Municipality travelling outbound on Thepkrasattri Rd before turning right into the hospital. Other vehicles had stopped to allow the emergency vehicle to pass.

However, as the ambulance turned through the intersection, a black sedan travelling at speed slammed into the side of the vehicle, shocking nearby motorists.

The video quickly prompted numerous comments online, with many drivers describing the junction as one of the most dangerous intersections in the area.

Some social media users claimed accidents have become more frequent since traffic barriers were installed at the site, with several calling for improved traffic management and safer driving near the hospital entrance.

“One day it’s going to become a gamble to pass through there,” one commenter wrote, while others urged motorists to slow down and exercise greater caution.

No official report on injuries or damage had been released at the time of publication.
