His mother, Saowaluck Chaiyo, 23, reported Nong DJ as missing yesterday afternoon (Feb 4).
“Nong DJ was wearing white t-shirt with a hood on the day he went missing,” she said.
“The front of the shirt has a picture of black Angry Bird. He was wearing orange shorts and green shoes. If anyone has seen Nong DJ, please call 083-6393868,” she urged.
Wichit Police Chief Col Kittipong Klaikaew told reporters that he has ordered his officers to check all CCTV in the area and question all neighbours.
“Officers are searching the neighbourhood and the surrounding areas, including canals nearby, but so far we have not found Nong DJ,” he said.
Ms Saowaluck’s father, Sujit Chaiyo, told The Phuket News that after the family had lunch on Wednesday, he went inside and took a nap.
“When I woke up, Nong DJ was gone and no one knows where he went,” he said.
Ms Saowaluck explained “After lunch, everyone went inside the house and Nong DJ was playing in front of the house while my mother was doing laundry in the back.
“I heard my mother calling out for my son from time to time. She kept calling him, but when he did not answer, she came inside and told me. I looked all over for him, but he was no where to be found.”
Ms Saowaluck said that she called Nong DJ’s estranged father to see if he had picked up Nong DJ.
“But he said Nong DJ was not with him, and today (Feb 4) he came to help us to search for him,” she said.
