The four were arrested three separate operations yesterday (Apr 15), Thalang Police reported.
Ms Duean Jarachit, 42, registered as living in Moo 1, Mai Khao, was arrested on a road in Baan Yamu, in Moo 7, Pa Khlok, after she was found with 398 ya bah pills. In placing her under arrest, officers seized her mobile phone.
Samart Mankarn, 50, from Ao Luek, Krabi, was arrested in front of a house in Moo 8, Thepkrasattri, after he was found with 360 ya bah pills and two grammes of crystal meth.
Suchart ‘Sak’ Roengsamut, 48, and Teeraphon ‘Rusdeen’ Laolang, 32, were arrested after officers searched Suchart’s home in Moo 9, Thepkrasattri, and then searched Teeraphon’s house in Moo 8, Thepkrasattri.
Officers seized 11,810 ya bah pills in the raids. They also seized as evidence a pack of plastic bags and two mobile phones.
All four were taken to Thalang Police Station and charged with illegal possession of a Category 1 narcotic with intent to sell.
