Wisarut Saman, a rescue worker with the Kusoldharm, posted a video on TikTok showing the young man clearing traffic on his Honda Click motorbike.
The ambulance was heading along Thepkrasattri Rd southbound, carrying an emergency patient to hospital, a journey of more than four kilometres, explained Mr Wisut.
“I was shocked. At first I did not notice. I was wondering what this man was doing on his motorbike. Then I noticed what he was doing was very lovely,” he wrote.
“Thank you good citizen. driving motorcycle registration number 1Kor 2366 Phuket for helping open the way for an ambulance transporting an emergency patient to hospital,” he added.
“Thank you to everyone who helped open the way for the ambulance. #People who do good things must be admired. #Phuket people are considerate,” he added.
