Srisoonthorn Deputy Mayor Chamras Duangchit and fellow District Officer Wuttikrai Dasdian, arrived at the home, in Soi Uthai, Moo 5 , Srisoonthorn after Nopparit Rungrungruang, the village headman of Moo 5, Srisoonthorn, informed them of the incident.

When officers arrived, the man, about 35-40 years old, climbed out of the house with his daughter.

Neighbours told the officers the man, who also lives in the street with his wife and daughter, was known for taking drugs, and often entered people’s homes without permission and take things, without permission.

Officers at Thalang Police soon arrived and searched the man’s own house nearby, where they found drug-taking paraphernalia and evidence of drug use, but no unused drugs.

The officers therefore issued a written warning for the man to cease his behaviour.

The officers advised the neighbour whose home was invaded to report the incident at Thalang Police Station.

Officers said they were concerned for the child if they detained her father. They decided to not call welfare services as the man lives with his wife (note: police did not say the child’s mother), who was presumed to normally take care of the child. The wife was not home when the incident occurred.
