Officers from the Phuket City Police Station (also known as Mueang Phuket Police Station) were summoned to the main SuperCheap store in Rassada at approximately 11.05pm on Saturday night (Feb 17).

Upon arrival, police officers were directed to the parking lot for company vehicles and shown a white Hino truck with damage to the cabin and the windshield. It was explained that the damage to the windshield was intentionally caused by a man who trespassed into the parking lot that evening.

Police did not provide details on how the damage was inflicted or whether the truck had been involved in a road incident prior to being deliberately damaged on Saturday night.

The case is currently under investigation, with CCTV footage from the scene and the surrounding area being reviewed for clues. Police are searching for the suspect and working to determine his motive.
