The Lobster Men have been beaten in both of their league games so far, falling to a 2-1 defeat to FC Yala on the opening weekend and a 2-0 loss at PT Satun last Saturday (Sept 21).

Matchday 3 sees an in-form Nara United FC visit Surakul Stadium for what promises to be another stiff test.

About Nara United FC

Nara United FC, hailing from the southernmost province of Narathiwat, finished 7th last season but have displayed promising form so far this season.

Known as ‘The Kolek Boat Warriors’ (named after the boat in the club badge that is synonymous with the region), Suriya Yayi’s side come into the game in good form, having held Muangtrang United to an impressive scoreless draw away from home in their opening game, beforethey made easy work of league newcomers Yala City FC 2-0 last weekend. Like most teams in the league, they play a physical, direct game.

PAFC News:

The squad should be at full strength with only long-term absentee Ley missing after successful knee surgery on Monday.

Attacking midfield duo of Ball and Game surely must start on the wings, leaving a question on who will fill in at right-back.

Bebe, Bank and Torky will battle for the 9 and 10 position between them. The diminutive Ivorian Bebe did little wrong apart from facing 12 rounds of torment in the last game from opponents, but maybe fan favourite Bank will be preferred, with Bebe being held back as an impact sub.

The club must be praying for a drier week so the awful pitch at the dilapidated Surakul has a chance to dry out and suit their style of play.

Outlook:

PAFC needs a boost but will be reliant on drier conditions or a tactical adjustment, otherwise the boatmen could capitalise on a waterlogged pitch. If the team get a chance to play we predict a narrow victory.
