A Must See! - Real theatre means no phones for an hour or so...just real people on a real stage, telling real stories about real impacts... now you can’t get any more real than that! The play centers on a majestic, ancient oak tree that has stood for hundreds of years, providing a home and a delicate ecosystem for a diverse community of animals. The conflict arises when a local developer plans to cut down the tree to make way for a children’s playground—ironically featuring a see-saw made of wood. It’s a story with a plea for planetary preservation and a reminder that once a natural resource is destroyed, the "see-saw" of our ecosystem tips toward disaster.
