Both you and any family members that you include on your membership plan will be entitled to: A 5-year multiple-entry visa, renewable depending on the membership duration The right to reside uninterrupted in Thailand cumulatively for up to 1 year, resettable with every re-entry into the country Ability to fly into and out of Thailand without needing a re-entry permit Better flexibility in choosing which perks to leverage by using a points redemption system Swifter and more streamlined application experience Opportunity to upgrade memberships to higher tiers No annual fees Access to the premium lane when arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport or Phuket International Airport for immigration fast-tracking Elite Personal Assistant (EPA) services upon arrival at either Suvarnabhumi Airport, Chiang Mai or Phuket International Airport Complimentary annual health checkups at top-tier hospitals across Thailand once per membership validity. However, there are many redeemable privileges to enhance family outings such as yacht rentals, private river cruises, and special trips to movie theaters and boxing rings, so you’ll still be getting a good value.  Thailand Privilege Eligibility Requirements Before applying for a Thailand Privilege Family Membership, you should consult all the conditions you and your family members will need to fulfill. Understanding that you have met all the mandatory requirements prevents any ensuing complications or possible rejections.  Each applicant must meet the following requirements: Must possess a valid foreign passport with no less than 12 months remaining on it Must be considered of sound mind Must not be a current or previous holder of a volunteer visa Must not showcase any bankruptcy history Must have a clean criminal record with no signs of criminal activity or imprisonment Must not have any lengthy overstays or pending overstay penalties on record Current or previous holders of an education visa are eligible but will need to submit additional documentation alongside the application There are no age, financial, income, employment, or education requirements The foreign passport used for the application must not originate from the following UN-sanctioned countries: Asia: Afghanistan, North Korea, Pakistan Africa: Central Africa, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan Middle East: Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Yemen Once you have all met the eligibility conditions, you can proceed to the next step.  Reaching out to a Thailand Privilege Visa GSSA If you’re applying for an elite visa membership, you should contact a Thailand Privilege General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) first. These compulsory items include: Membership Application Form (Core Member) for the membership of your choice Membership Application Form (Next Members) for your family members to complete Membership Application Fee Payment Form Photocopy of each applicant’s passport biopage (in color)* Passport-sized photo of each applicant (in color, taken against a white background)** Proof of relationship documents (such as a birth or marriage certificate) Supplementary documentation (if applicable)*** *NOTE: The biopage must display your passport’s signature. If your signature is not visible on the biopage, then you must provide a photocopy of the signature page. The same applies when submitting photocopies of your family member’s passport. **NOTE: You can take your and your family member(s)’s photo by standing against a white background and putting your camera into portrait mode. Consult your GSSA for details regarding the photo dimensions. ***NOTE: This is circumstantial and you should ask your GSSA if there are any additional documents required. Current and past holders of an education visa would need to complete an Education Visa Holder Acknowledgement Form.  You will also need to pay an application fee of 50,000 THB before starting the background check. This step can be accomplished once you have filled out the Membership Application Fee Payment Form and followed all the instructions to complete your payment. The application fee is deducted from your total membership fee if your background check is successful, so you only need to pay the remainder. Thailand Elite Visa Application Process After consulting a GSSA, you can request for them to submit your application directly to Thailand Privilege. The application journey, while a lot faster compared to other visas, is still lengthy with an estimated timeline of 1 to 3 months to get a Thailand Elite Visa issued.  As an applicant, you will need to proceed through these stages: Gather and send all necessary documents to your GSSA, which will review them and let you know if there are any inaccuracies, errors, or missing items.  When everything is ready, your GSSA will submit your packet to the Thai government. Upon submission, they will also share with you your login details for the Thailand Privilege online portal, enabling you to track the status of your application. A Thai immigration officer will be assigned to examine your background history, as well as those of any additional applicants. This takes between 4 to 6 weeks on average but may last longer if any delays arise.  If the background check is successful, you will receive an approval letter and payment instructions. You will then have 30 days to follow the payment instructions for the remaining membership fee to Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd.  After completing your payment, wait between 5 to 10 business days to receive a welcome package, consisting of a welcome letter and your membership ID.  With your membership ID* ready, you can book an appointment via the member contact center to affix the Thailand Elite Visa to your passport. Successfully progressing through all these steps enrolls you into a Thailand Privilege membership and grants you a Thailand Elite Visa. You can now reside in Thailand until your membership expires and utilize all the benefits available.  *NOTE: Additionally, you can apply for a physical Thailand Privilege card for yourself and any family members you’ve added.
