To celebrate the albums completion they have released a new single from the album called “Writing My Name” which can be heard on Live 89.5FM in Phuket and via the band’s SoundCloud site.
“The album took a very long time to record because we have had so many line-up changes over the last 3 years” said Blaze KC, the bands leader and guitarist.
“Because we were so young when we started the recording process, we recently had to go back and re-record quite a bit of what was originally done because our voices have changed and we have become better musicians.”
Having survived the revolving door of band member changes, the current lineup of Gemma Kealy (16), Destiny Star (15), Blaze KC (14) and Rannze Davies (18) have been together for a little over a year now, and this stability has afforded them the time to record an album and develop into a tight live act as was witnessed at the recent Rocktober shows staged at the Underwood Art Factory in Phuket.
Blaze KC started Legends of Siam with Rannze Davies in 2011 when he was just 10 years old.
Since their inception Legends of Siam have worked hard to realise their dreams of making careers in the music industry.
From the onset the band attracted many supporters and became a sought after live act for functions and festivals in Phuket.
They have opened for such Thai superstars as Job to Do, Paradox, Modern Dog and Hugo.
Legends of Siam have big plans for 2015, and have already reached two of their goals which was to complete their album and reach 1000 likes on their Facebook page.
With their ‘we don’t wish for it, we work for it’ attitude, 2015 looks like it will be a successful year for Legends of Siam.
