Authorities were notified this morning at about 11am that large chunks of the ruined concrete wall had rolled onto Soi Narison, the thouroughfare in front of the post office, obstructing traffic.

The wall reportedly collapsed at dawn this morning, presumed to be the result of a landslide culminating with the past four days of heavy rain, which formed puddles around the wall, where drainage was noted to be insufficient.

Nonetheless, authorities have since removed the concrete blocks from the road to allow traffic to flow as usual, and are keeping a close eye on the area surrounding what remains of the wall.

Commuters are asked to take extra precaution in areas that could be vulnerable to landslides, such as near construction sitesand other inclined areas with poor drainage.
