The journey spans over 1,000 acres and connects six resorts, designed to create a walkable experience that links landscaped parks, cultural spaces, wellbeing areas, and beachfront environments within Laguna Phuket’s integrated ecosystem. The initiative aims to enhance the travellers’ experiences by connecting them with nature, while also supporting long-term environmental and community goals.

Along the journey, travellers can look forward to key attractions such as beautifully designed welcome areas, community parks featuring seasonal outdoor art installations, herb gardens, forest therapy spaces, and mindfulness zones by the beach. This cohesive experience is designed to evolve with the seasons, ensuring that each visit offers something unique and enriching.

This landscape-led journey builds on Laguna Phuket’s long-standing commitment to responsible development and destination stewardship while providing immersive, regenerative travel experiences that emphasise purpose, participation, and personal meaning.

Low-carbon mobility across the integrated resort destination

In November 2025, Laguna Phuket launched a fleet of fully electric shuttle vehicles that connect its six resorts and key facilities throughout the integrated resort destination. These electric shuttles were introduced to enhance the guest experience by providing quieter and cleaner transportation options, while also reducing dependence on fossil-fuel vehicles.

This initiative is part of a broader plan to promote low-carbon mobility, which includes expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and gradually reducing internal transport emissions across the destination.

Living lagoons, marine conservation and biodiversity protection

Laguna Phuket’s sustainability efforts are built upon long-term conservation initiatives. Since 1994, the Sea Turtle Conservation Programme has successfully released over 2,294 sea turtles and involved more than 5,000 participants in various conservation activities, partnering with local marine centres.

Another significant aspect of Laguna Phuket’s sustainability initiatives is mangrove restoration. Since 2007, more than 35,500 mangrove saplings have been planted to bolster coastal resilience and improve biodiversity.

The commitment to sustainability is further underscored by the achievement of EarthCheck certification at the precinct level, where Laguna Phuket has maintained Gold Status since 2020. This prestigious certification involves annual audits that evaluate their performance across key areas such as energy use, water management, waste practices, and emissions, solidifying their commitment to sustainability practices.

Additionally, all hotels within Laguna Phuket have received certification under the Trusted Thailand programme, a national accreditation recognised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. This certification highlights their adherence to strict standards of health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring rigorous operational and hygiene benchmarks are met across the integrated resort destination.

People, community and cultural stewardship

Beyond environmental initiatives, Laguna Phuket is committed to investing in long long-term social and cultural programmes. This includes educational and community learning initiatives, as well as continual support for local traditions and festivals that help preserve Phuket’s heritage and sense of place.
