Police received a report yesterday that Yin Jun Zhou, 32, had been threatened and then robbed of an iPhone, a Sony camera and a Scoopy I motorcycle.
Police checked CCTV camera footage and saw the robber drive into Soi Koktanode and then across to Patak Rd. They were able to track him all the way to a house in Soi Hong Sathong in Phuket Town.
Today they raided the house and arrested Sommai Butprom, 23, and recovered the stolen items. Sommai admitted to a charge of armed robbery.
