The ‘Kamala Charity Fun Run’ will take place on Sunday, January 7, 2024 with all funds raised being donated to the Al-Bushrokmala Mosque, it was confirmed in a press release.
Participation is limited to only 500 people so organisers urged those interested to register as soon as possible.
Organisers stated that competitors are permitted to walk or run the 6-kilometre route, which will start in the field next to Phuket FantaSea and cross to Kamala Beach, affording participants picturesque views of the local area.
Registration opened yesterday (Nov 20) and runs to Dec 25 with the cost for entry based on shirt selection – B500 for a short-sleeved shirt and B600 for a long-sleeved shirt. All funds raised will be donated to the Al-Bushrokmala Mosque, they added.
The 500 competitors will each receive a medal on completing the route, organisers confirmed.
