Cherng Talay Police were called to the temple at about 7:30pm.
The Italian man was found on the floor in front of the Buddha statue in the sermon hall. The man was naked and lying akimbo. His shirt and shorts were on the floor nearby.
Officers placed th man under protective custody and removed him from the scene.
Wongpong Saejia later arrived at Cherng Talay Police Station to file a formal complaint against the man.
Wongpong said the man went “crazy” and had damaged a microphone at the temple.
Cherng Talay Police noted they were continuing their investigation.
