Spreaking to The Phuket News, Borworn Promkaewngam, Deputy Director of Internal Security Operations Command said, “We no longer have any officers stationed at the site but we are still sending officers to carry out checks as the case has not yet finished and there are still many things to be investigated.

“The main building that was built on the cliff and sand has now been demolished as it was clearly encroaching on beach land. However, our team is now working on checking the other buildings as the owner has claimed that they are built on NorSor 3 Kor land, but they are clearly built on the sand.”

He went on to say that a team of officers will also continue to check the venue for illegal weapons and drugs, and they will also investigate the owner of the venue as he has had a treaty case brought against him before.
