The double accident occurred across the road from Tha Ruea Shrine on Thepkrasattri Rd northbound, with rainy weather contributing to the crashes, according to Thalang Police.

The first crash happened at 1am when the driver of a Gear Head Co van failed to navigate a curve on the wet road and crashed his Toyota Commuter into a power pole.

The accident was spotted by an ambulance driver transporting a patient to Mission Hospital. He stopped his vehicle, another Toyota Commuter, near the damaged Toyota van to provide assistance and handed the injured over to another ambulance.

While the ambulance team was working at the scene, a ice truck from Petch Phatthalung Company failed to navigate the same curve and crashed into both the filming crew van and the ambulance.

By the time rescue workers arrived at the scene, four people required medical help, namely the Toyota van driver and three people from the ice truck.

The injured were taken to Thalang Hospital for treatment, while the damaged vehicles were towed to Thalang Police Station. Workers from Srisoonthorn Municipality were called to the scene to clear oil stains left on the road. Police have not mentioned pressing any charges.
