All were arrested for drug offences during the drive. They were:
Fidelis Vaboomaronanna, 25, from Nigeria, caught with with 51 bags of crystal methamphetamine (ya ice), the biggest haul of ice in Phuket this year;
Watchakorn “O” Neungboonchu, 29, with seven bags of ya ice; Yuwapaporn Chareurat, 38, with 127 grams of ya ice; Rungsiam Hommaak, 32, with 10 pills of methamphetamine (ya ba); Sirilak “Pat” Keankonpan, 27, with 3.8 grams of ya ice; Chanchai “Chai” Chanuk, 29, with five bags of ya ice.
Kertpon “Kem” Changwad, 20, with seven bags of ya ice.
Four Burmese, named as Tong, 24, Star, 36, Selip, 36, and Ola, 27, all found in possession of small bottles containing the makings for the drink “4x100”, which includes kratom, a restricted drug.
All the suspects admitted all charges, police said.
