Wichit Municipality and Wichit Police were informed of the fire, in Soi Thep Anusorn 6 in Moo 2, Wichit, at 1:48pm.
Wichit Municipality dispatched a fire truck, three water trucks and an EMS Ambulance.
Police and firefighters from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation branch stationed at Wichit Municipality (DDPM-Wichit) arrived to find the inside of the home ablaze, with smoke billowing into the sky.
Wichit Mayor Kreetha Chotiwitphiphat soon arrived on site to oversee the fire response, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Wiset Sabaijit.
The fire was contained within about 30 minutes. No people were injured in the blaze.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire and are assessing the extent of the damage incurred.
Investigators have yet to confirm what started the fire, though officials from the Phuket Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and other agencies were at the scene to assess the situation.
Wichit Municipality urged residents to remain vigilant and report any emergencies promptly.
