Police said they were alerted to the fire at the ‘Hua Pan X5’ club at around 3:40am.
Investigators found that the fire had started earlier, at about 2:50am, when smoke and sparks were seen coming from the area housing the shop’s electrical panels.
Sompong Achwarangrob, the venue’s manager, told police he had been outside the building when he noticed smoke inside. Fire crews were called to the scene and were able to bring the blaze under control by around 3:40am.
No injuries were reported. Authorities are still assessing the extent of the damage, and forensic investigators have been called in to determine the cause of the fire.
