The Phuket Provincial Court officially lifted the travel ban on Fehr, who also goes by the name ‘David’, in an official court order issued yesterday.

The court had initially imposed the ban as a precautionary measure, preventing Fehr, the 45-year-old founder of the Green Elephant Sanctuary Park in Cherng Talay, from leaving Thailand until the legal proceedings had been resolved.

The travel restriction was part of the criminal case against Fehr, filed by Thandao Chandee, a doctor at Dibuk Hospital.

“Following a thorough review of the case, the court concluded its deliberations and issued an order to revoke the travel ban. This decision allows Mr Fehr to leave Thailand, effective immediately,” said the order, signed by Sothon Charoenphanit, a Judge of the Court of First Instance, at Court of Appeal Region 4 who is currently serving as Chief Judge of the Phuket Provincial Court.

“The order has been communicated to the Commander of the Immigration Bureau to ensure its prompt implementation,” the order noted.
