At 1.00pm on Tuesday, Meaung police and Lt Col Korrawat Panprapakon, commissioner of Special Operations DSI, issued a press statement regarding the arrest of two suspects, Kanapat Kongmeang, 42 and Witsanusan Tippayatat, 47.
At 10pm on April 24, four suspects went into the massage parlour in Talad Neua to use the services, including sex and made a video of it.
The suspects then showed the video to the parlour owner and demanded B100,000 or the video would be posted online. The owner handed over the money as he didn’t want any bad publicity.
The owner later made checks into the four men’s claim to be from the DSI and found they were imposters.
Lt Col Korrawat of the DSI said, “Please contact the DSI headquarters if anyone claims to be from the DSI and demands money. DSI never demands money.”
The other two men are still being sought.
