Aside from specialising in fresh products, Talad Sod is also the bus station where the local non-air-conditioned bus or sawng taeos are located.
These can take you to various impressive destinations around the island. The bus routes mainly go to beaches such as Patong, Kamala, Surin, Rawai, Kata and Karon where you can find other connecting fascinating spots in the area. The price per trip costs only B20-B40 max.
However, before taking the bus anywhere else, it must be noted that the neighbouring area of Talad Sod should not be missed.
