Electricity outages to affect Kata, Koh Siray

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be temporarily shut off in parts of Kata and Koh Siray tomorrow (May 21) and Friday (May 22) while work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

The Kata areas to be affected by the power outage tomorrow, from 9am to 5pm, are along Kata Rd (Route 4030), from Club Med to the Karon Municipality office. 

The Koh Siray areas to be affected on Friday, from 9pm to 4:30pm, are along Theppratan Rd, from Rimhad Seafood restaurant to The Moon Terrace. 

In its announcement, the PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
