Electricity outage to hit west side of bypass road

PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be shut off along a large section of the west side of the bypass road on Wednesday (Feb 17) as work is carried out on installing new high-voltage cables.

The areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, are from the Chan’s Antique shop to Wat Samkong.

Also to be affected by the power outage is the Petch Lolian community located on Soi Wa Samkong, just north of Phra Phuket Kaew Rd.

In its announcement, the PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
